Murray House for Grade 8 and 9 boys is named after the famous Rev. Andrew Murray, the first rector of Grey College. This hostel was restored without changing the character of the majestic building in any way. It is also a National Monument.
Brill House named after another famous headmaster, Dr. Johannes Brill, houses Grade 9 and 10 boys. This hostel, too, has been beautifully restored. It is also a National Monument.
Leith House named after a former Bursar of the school, Thomas Leith, has been replaced by a modern hostel, housing Grade 11 and 12 boys.
Hamilton Hall is the dining hall for the boarders. The architect was sir Herbert Baker and this building is also a National Monument.
