In 2005 more than a hundred enthusiastic Grey boys joined the choir. Since then a high standard has been maintained and the choir had successful performances with various famous South African artists like Laurika Rauch, Steve Hofmeyr, Theuns Jordaan, Nianell and "Drie van die Bestes".

2007 started on a high note with a successful choir camp where a new repertoire was studied. In May they performed at the "Rapport Sing jou Taal" concert featuring Dewald Louw, Pieter Koen and ddisselblom. They obtained an A symbol at the Free State Eistedfodd and performed a traditional Afrikaans song during the Grey-Affies inter-cultural event.  During the month of August the choir recorded a DVD for the opening of the Loch Logan WaterFront. The highlight of the choir calendar was the Grey Music Festival.
