Soccer team wins silver

Our soccer team did us all proud when they won the silver medal at the Engen Knockout Challenge that was held at Windmill Park.
Sixteen teams competed and it's the first time in five years that they've reached the final.
The semi's against Bloem Celtic was hectic, as they not only went to penalties, but also to sudden death.
The Grey boys managed to keep calm and won the match!
In the final, they played against the reigning champions, Virginia Sports Academy. This game also went to penalties after a controversial goal against Grey.
Unfortunately the boys lost in the penalties.
The day wasn't over and at the award ceremony, Grey took three of the awards!
Coach Ricardo Katza was awarded the "Coach of the tournament".
The Grey goalkeeper, Lesedi Mokwena, won the awards for "Goalkeeper of the tournament" and the most prestigious award for "Player of the tournament".
Congratulations on this great achievement.
