Cycling suddenly takes off

Lance Armstrong, 7-time winner of the Tour de France once said, “It’s not about the bike.” He meant that it’s never the equipment that makes you the sportsman that you are.
Here we find that cycling has gradually become an elite sport at Grey, with heaps of enthusiasm and growing popularity. Boys regularly meet  to discuss where they’ll be riding that afternoon.
The cycling department was infused with a breath of fresh air when Mr Juan van den Berg took over this discipline. Within a few days he was already organizing tours and making arrangements. One of the biggest highlights for the cyclists was the Korannaberg Cycling camp that took place early in the fourth term.
